I feel it is only right that I update my Dec. 7, 2016 post. It turns out we will owe just under $800 for my husband's cataract surgeries, due to the high deductible of his supplemental insurance. We received billing in the mail for the first surgery and another bill for the second surgery will be coming our way soon :( It has been a low blow, because we had begun to believe there would be no charge. I was knocked down, right when I felt we were about to receive a blessing, but I kept praying the rosary. The devil wants me to stop, but I will not stop. And, dear Jesus, I still remember the inner locution I received (mentioned in my Dec. 7 post) to "be not afraid." I place all of our wants, needs, worries, fears, and necessities into your holy hands and ask you to help us. I promise to report help received on this website, so that others in difficulty might find the strength to continue to pray the rosary with hope and trust in You. Amen.

God has delivered me from my sinful habit of ********* through the rosary prayer. I had the bad habit for almost 20 years doing it about 3 times a week. I tried many ways to overcome it but I found it very difficult. About 6 months ago, I decided to recite the rosary every day, and to my surprise, not long after that my desire to do the sinful acts decreased sharply. Since 2 months ago, I have never done it again. Godís blessing does not stop here. Through the rosary, I have a much stronger desire to deepen my knowledge in catholic faith and gradually overcome my other bad habit as well. I highly recommend anyone to pray the rosary every day. Thank you Lord. Thank you Mary.

On this day December 23, 2016 one of my petitions I diligently prayed to the Blessed Mother Mary was granted. I passed my Career Service Sub Professional exam, I studied hard but I know I have many mistakes in the exam. I cannot be thankful enough. I prayed the memorare before I checked results, I thought the results will be posted on January 2017,after looking in the internet and saw the results were already posted. I also went to Saint Clare and offered eggs last Tuesday, I also went to our Lady of Piat last October. I prayed to Padre Pio Novena, To St. Clare Novena, to St. Jude. I'm on my second novena to Mary undoer Of knots. I'm in the 22nd day petition to the 54 day Novena of the Holy Rosary. And I still to the daily Rosary every dawn. I went for Misa de Gallo Christmas Mass. Thank you thank you Mother Mary for interceding for me. For helping me pass my exam. I will forever be grateful and will continue my devotion of praying the Holy Rosary for you. Thank you Jesus Christ for having mercy on me.
Please please pray the Rosary, Mother Mary is listening in our prayers. Miracles happen in Jesus name through the intercession of our Mother Mary. Amen. Glory to God.

I had a dream awhile ago that I was holding a Rosary and that the thread is loose holding the beads together, like close to splitting thread, I can't remember if I'm trying to hold the thread together or am I praying the Rosary. But when I woke up I reach for my rosary and it's there beside me in bed. I don't know about this signal grace or what this dream means to me. I still continue with my 54 day novena and the 9 day novena praying for my family and for me to pass my exam on career service sub professional. And to get a good job this December. Thank Mother Mary for showing the Rosary to me. I will take care of my rosary.

I had a prayer answered that without God could not have been answered. I had a little kitten I take care of (I take care of a colony of stray cats). The kitten took off for a few days and when she came back was completely emaciated. I took her to the emergency clinic overnight. The doctor said that not only was the cat anemic her heart rate was not compatible with life. The vet said that she should be euthanized. The vet said that the cat would not make 24 hours because of her heart rate. She also that I would need a miracle or something like that. The vet wrote up a piece of paper to sign me out and the recommendation was to euthanize the cat. I agree. Then changed my mind twice. I took the cat back home. The vet didn't seem happy, she even wrote twice on the cats paperwork that the suggestion is humane euthanasia. I went home and cried. Then, I did two things I have never done. I wrote out a petition to God the father. I quoted the Bible and asked for a healing for the cat. Secondly, I prayed the entire 15 decade Rosary straight in a row. It is three months later, the cat made a miraculous recovery and if perfectly fine. To me, you don't want to look at prayer as the right formula. You don't need a formula for God, that is looking at things in a superstitious way, like if you say the right pray in the right way, the right number of times God will answer. That is superstition. I think the difference in these prayers for me was that I really believed and had faith. I was so upset I just completely resigned myself and surrendered to God. God works miracles. The Blessed Mother's prayers don't hurt either.

So many blessings, where to start? My husband had to have cataract surgery, both eyes. We worried about the expense but his eye sight worsened, so we scheduled the surgery for this year as his Medicare deductible had been met. We hoped that would cut down at least some of he cost. However, his Medicare supplement insurance deductible is huge and has not been met. So we worried we would have to pay out of pocket for whatever Medicare did not cover. A few days before his first surgery the doctor's office called and said there would be a balance due. It was just over $100 and was due to the supplemental insurance deductible not being met. This was for the doctor's services only, not for the much larger surgery center charge. This upset me a lot, because I felt it meant that Medicare would not cover the entire amount. When I had cataract surgery two years ago the surgery center required payment up front and we had to pay a large amount out of pocket, even though I had excellent health insurance with a high monthly premium. So the doctor's call really knocked me down. I was in the midst of a 54 day Novena and setbacks like that tend to make me wonder why I bother. That is, of course, what the devil wants. As I was going about my business, feeling upset and depressed, I became vaguely aware of song lyrics in my mind and began to disparage out loud the hopeful message of the lyrics, not yet fully aware of them. It is not unusual for me to receive a message in the form of lyrics. Finally aware, I recognized the song as "Be Not Afraid" I could think of no reason why that song would be playing in my mind. I had not heard it in a while. So, I decided it was a signal grace and tried not to worry. I figured it meant that we would somehow manage to pay the cost and all would eventually be well. To tell the truth, that was not all that comforting. All that week I kept expecting a call from the surgery center, letting us know how much we would owe. The call never came. Day of surgery we were both very surprised and elated when they did not ask for payment. Two weeks later he had his second surgery. Same thing, no one asked for a dime. Not 100% sure yet, but all indications are that the surgery will be fully paid for by Medicare. I am so grateful that the Lord loves us and for his kindness in sending a message to me when I was so upset. Along with the 54 day Rosary Novena, I was praying a chaplet to St. Therese of Lisieux and she sent me many roses and signs that she was interceding before the Lord, along with Our Lady. During his second surgery, the whole time he was being operated on, a woman in the waiting room talked to me. I remember thinking she would never stop talking and it occurred to me that maybe she was there to help keep my mind occupied while my husband was in surgery. I asked her what her name was, hoping her name would be Rose. She said her name was Terry. Minutes later she was called in for her procedure. The moment she stood up to leave and I had wished her luck, a nurse came to tell me my husband's surgery had gone well and I could take him home. As I was walking to my car, it occurred to me, Terry is short for Theresa (Therese). I think the Little Flower and Our Lady couldn't find a rose that cold December day, so (as a sign of love) they sent a Terry instead.
